Black journalists in need can apply for these grants.
The Black Journalists Therapy Relief Fund is designed to provide financial assistance for Black journalists globally who are unable to pay for mental health support.
The IWMF’s United States Journalism Emergency Fund may address needs related to work, such as medical aid, destroyed or stolen equipment and protective gear; or long-term needs such as trauma, mental health services and referrals to legal support.
Applicants must be working journalists based in the U.S. and must provide proof of their financial need.
Requests will be reviewed as they are received.
