Photographers from all over the world can apply for these grants.
The nonprofit Photographers Without Borders (PWB) is launching its Revolutionary Storyteller Grant.
The program will select five photography projects that support grassroots, frontline movements and initiatives aimed at protecting the planet.
Selected projects will receive a US$5,000 grant.
Priority will be given to photographers who demonstrate a longstanding relationship with their communities. Out of the five grants, three are for PWB members and the other two are open to non-members.
Application deadline is Jan. 31.
