Journalists around the world can attend this free online event.

The National Press Club Journalism Institute is hosting the webinar “How op-eds can amplify original voices and engage new communities.”  The webinar will provide journalists with tips for broadening the voices they feature and the audiences they reach.

Journalists will leave this program equipped with skills to choose voices to feature in ways that differentiate their op-eds from the noisy crowd.  They will also be equipped to clarify each op-ed’s purpose and use persuasive strategies that are most effective.

In addition, journalists will learn how to identify specific audiences for op-eds and ways to know whether they’ve reached them.

The webinar will be held Oct. 22.
