Journalists who are fluent in Arabic, French or Russian can apply for part-time officer positions in the United Kingdom.
Rory Peck Trust (RPT) is accepting applications for officers who will assist with its MENA, Africa and Eurasia regions. The RPT is dedicated to the financial support, safety and welfare of freelance newsgatherers around the world.
The MENA, Africa and Eurasia officers will research and verify cases and distribute assistance grants to beneficiaries in their regions.
In addition to a background in journalism, desirable applicants should have a background in international relations. All applicants must have authorization to work in the U.K.
Selected applicants are expected to begin work in mid-October 2021. A GBP25,000 salary is being offered for the positions.
