The Solutions Journalism Network (SJN), with support from Porticus, is organizing the Business & Sustainability Initiative to enable coverage of businesses’ role in solutions related to sustainability.
News organizations interested in solutions journalism can apply to join this two-year initiative.
The initiative will offer up to US$5,000 in funding, training, guidance by SJN staff and a network of organizations committed to solutions journalism.
Reporting initiatives can focus on environmental issues such as climate action and resilience, clean water, renewable energy and biodiversity, as well as on social challenges highlighted by the COVID-19 pandemic and more.
The deadline is Sept. 30.
