Short film contest highlights science [Worldwide]

The World Congress of Science and Factual Producers (WCSFP), which will take place online Dec. 8 to 10, is organizing “The science in 60 seconds” film competition.

Independent filmmakers ages 35 and younger can enter this contest.

The contest is accepting 1-minute videos on any science topic. Films will be judged on creativity, production values, storytelling and clarity for an international audience.

The best videos will be screened at the Congress and showcased on WCSFP’s social media channels. The top three finalists will receive free registration for next year’s event. The grand prize winner will receive airfare, hotel and registration for next year as well.

The deadline is Oct. 23.
